ZRG Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services in the search for a Senior Director of Development, Major Gifts.
Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, the Senior Director of Development, Major Gifts will be a key member of the Development team and responsible for building and implementing Didi Hirsch's individual and major gifts strategy. The Senior Director will serve as the lead relationship manager to a portfolio of 100-125 major donors, developing and implementing strategies to move these prospects towards established goals, making assignments to other staff and volunteers as appropriate, and ensuring timely follow-through.
In this senior leadership role, the Senior Director will provide strategic vision and leadership to shape the long-term strategy for individual and major gifts, aligning with organizational priorities and growth objectives. This role will also work in close partnership with the Chief Philanthropy Officer to support leadership and interface with the board of directors to cultivate relationships in order to achieve fundraising goals.

A bachelor's degree and at least seven years of progressive responsibility and fundraising experience with individual and major gifts, along with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience, is required for this position. Experience in an organization providing direct human services is preferred. Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services will consider candidates with a broad range of backgrounds. This individual will be based in the Los Angeles area with a hybrid work schedule having the ability to work from home and office, with an ability and willingness to have in-person donor meetings and attend events.
