Company Overview

The Kronos Performing Arts Association (KPAA) is a San Francisco-based 501(c)3 non-profit performing arts organization founded in 1973 that manages all activities of the Kronos Quartet (www.kronosquartet.org). Kronos commissions, performs, and records contemporary repertoire, tours internationally for five months annually, presents an annual Festival in San Francisco, and delivers a rich education program, both locally and while on tour. The Kronos Quartet is a celebrated leader in creative programming across many genres of music, often in collaboration with other musicians and artists.
