Company Overview

BELL is a national, nonprofit organization that exists to transform the academic achievements, self-confidence, and life trajectories of children living in under-resourced, urban communities. BELL was founded in 1992 by a group of students at Harvard Law School and has since evolved into a high performing organization offering rigorous afterschool and summer learning solutions to the nation’s most troubled schools. BELL programs are designed to improve children’s academic performance through targeted instruction in literacy and math, mentoring relationships with positive adult role models, and opportunities to experience success and heighten aspirations. BELL after school and summer programs are offered in elementary and middle schools in California, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, and Ohio.
